This is the first Ghostwriter vintage from Black Ridge and the first Ghostwriter Cab since 2015. I experimented with the vineyard as part of a consulting project I did in 2016 and have been keeping an eye on the site since. Bill Brosseau who we work with in connection to his family's Chalone property is also responsible for the vineyard management here. Lean and structured in a way that only the Santa Cruz Mountains can be, there is a behind-the-scenes herbaceousness mixed with tobacco leaf, dark chocolate, and clove spice. This wine will age well if stored properly.  Only two barrels produced. pH 3.60, TA 7.1
